TWW Flashback – April

Morning all! Ps 9.14 says “Save me so I can praise You publicly at Jerusalem’s gates, so I can rejoice that You have rescued me.”

When we find ourselves in difficult situations, we usually cry out for God’s help bc we’re worn out by the challenge and the discomfort / frustration it brings. This verse reminds us that when God sees us through adversity, it’s not just so we can ‘feel better’ but so that He can be glorified as others see the power of our God to rescue us. God’s reputation means that He won’t leave us where we are – let’s be encouraged that He will give us a testimony after our trial. Have faith that despite how things may seem, God has a rescue plan but don’t forget that He expects us to praise Him publicly when it comes to fruition.
