Actions Speak Louder

image-1-49Morning all! Ps 25.10 says “The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep His covenant and obey His demands.”

As Christians, we often want the benefits of God’s blessings without having to put in any of the work. Even though God’s love for us is unconditional, we should never forget how important obedience is to Him. In many ways, our willingness to obey God’s commands is a litmus test, reflecting how healthy our relationship with Him actually is. It can be all too easy to proclaim God as our Master, yet act like we have rule over Him. The simple reality, however, is that actions speak louder than words. Our obedience shows that we’ve entrusted God with our lives, submitted fully to His will and believe His ways are truly best. Let’s remember that every time we do what we want at the expense of God’s instructions, we’re indirectly telling Him we know better. This verse reminds us that God loves and rewards obedience with His unrivalled faithfulness. Let’s make a conscious decision to ensure our actions are a product of His instructions and watch what He does when we let His voice take precedence in our lives.

Happy Wednesday!

  2. Obedience can indeed sometimes be challenging when viewed from our human perspective but it really is the only way with God & does yield great rewards… the appointed time.
Thank you for the reminder Tomi. Sx
