Seeing isn’t Believing

image-1-57Morning all! Ps 28.7 says “The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.”

The routine of our ‘everyday’ can mean that the strength and vigour we had at the very beginning of this year quickly starts to wane. It’s easy to get lost in the ‘same old’ cycle yet this verse reminds us that God is our source of strength and protection. As such, even when we face new hurdles or the struggles of 2016 start to reappear, we’re to lean wholly and completely on Him, being confident that He is our Help and will make a way even when we can’t see how. Our hearts are a battleground so we have to choose to trust in God and resist doubt even when it tries to creep in. Regardless of what the circumstance looks like, don’t forget that the battle is already won. Let’s not wait until we see our testimony before we start our praise. Instead, let’s act in faith and thank Him in advance for all He’s about to do and the incredible ways He’ll come through.

Happy Wednesday!
