Faithful. Always.

Morning all! Ps 33.3,4 says “Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts. For the word of the Lord is upright, and all His work is done in faithfulness.”

It can be so easy to question God’s faithfulness whilst waiting for our breakthrough. The pain of waiting blurs our vision and it begins to seem like the turnaround we desire will never come. This verse reminds us that God always works in a sphere of faithfulness and that’s something we should never doubt. Instead, we need to actively work on giving God all our fears, praising Him whilst we wait. Although praise may come more naturally after the victory, it doesn’t negate the fact that it also touches God’s heart when offered amidst the hardship. A true sign of our confidence in God is when we’re able to sincerely praise Him for blessings we’re yet to see manifest. God’s word never changes. He is more than able to keep His promise, even when things seem bleak to the human eye. Let’s wholeheartedly trust His decisions and be mindful to praise Him before, during and after the testimony comes. Think about His faithfulness and begin your praise!

Happy Wednesday!

  1. Thank you for sharing your insight this morning. To praise him takes away any fear and doubt I have. This has not always been the case but has developed as I have grown closer to The Lord and immersed my self on His word. Taking time to share your thoughts in your blogs will always be helpful and touch someone.

    • Thank you for your kind words. I completely agree with what you’ve said – praising God has a way of making our fears and doubts fade away but it’s definitely a learned behaviour. It’s so important that we run to God instead of away from Him at every turn life brings!

  2. Thanks Sarah. How true that to praise God while wait for our breakthrough must endear us more to God rather than praising him when we are answered. Blessed is the doer of the word and who teaches others to do the word. That blessing is yours my darling. God bless

    • Amen Aunty, amen! You’re so right – praising God before the breakthrough is something we have to be decisive about: it’s all about dancing in the hallway on the way to the miracle! Thanks for commenting Aunty
