Morning all! Ps 34.5 says “Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.”
With so much going on around us, it can be a struggle to keep our eyes fixed on God. Regardless of whether we’re in the middle of a trial or experiencing the joy of a new testimony, it can be so easy to get distracted by ‘everything else’. Yet, there is nothing more important than keeping God as our number one priority. Each time we look to God, we’re acknowledging that He is our rescuer, deliverer, sustenance, help…. our everything. It’s only when this happens that we become radiant, emitting a God-given cheerful hope as we rest in the knowledge that despite how things look, He is always in full control. God promises that we will never be put to shame so even when the testimony feels like it’s delayed; we’re waiting longer than anticipated and people start to question our seemingly blind faith, let’s keep trusting. Let’s be mindful that God will never leave us to figure things out by ourselves and remember that He can be found in our darkest moments. Let’s look to Him, expecting to find all we need for where we are.
