Morning all! Ps 44.7-8 says “But You have saved us from our enemies, And have put to shame those who hated us. In God, we boast all day long and praise Your name forever. Selah”
For most of us, December is a month of reflection. It’s the month where we take the time to look back on what’s happened in the past year including the good, bad and ugly. Regardless of what trials or triumphs the past year has brought our way, we can all say that God has seen us through. He has rescued us in the midst of our challenges and come to our defence when we needed it. Now, that doesn’t necessarily mean that everything has gone exactly as we’d like but we can certainly testify that God has looked out for us, never leaving our side. No matter what’s happening around us, let’s never get so caught up that we fail to see His hand in our lives. We have countless reasons to thank God and to boast in His unfailing love. We have to be mindful not to let the devil cloud our judgement by magnifying the hurdles and minimising the wins. As we go through December, let’s make a conscious decision to practice daily gratitude and thanksgiving. Let’s praise our God for the victories we’ve already experienced and those we are yet to see manifest; no matter how big or small.
