The Intangible Things…

Morning all! Prov 22.9 says “He who is generous will be blessed, For he gives some of his food to the poor.”
We often think this verse refers exclusively to money and/or material things. If we really think about it though, its core principle is about how we use what we have to help others. Of course, money can be a direct way of helping people, but giving intangible things like time, kindness, encouragement, care and attention can often be just as important. Covid-19 means we’re generally doing a lot less rushing around than usual making this a great time to put this into practice. Let’s ask God to show us how we can use our gifts, talents and resources to be there for others in a way that’s meaningful for them. God will give us grace!
Happy Wednesday!
