A Sure Hope

OverPage-0 (2)

Morning all! Prov 23.18 says “There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”

At a time when most of our short- (and maybe even some of our medium-) term plans have been thrown out of the window, this verse is a salient reminder that God’s plans for us are (a) good and (b) unchanged by Covid-19. The verse preceding this one makes it clear that this promise is intertwined with our relationship with God so it’s important to note that, as with all of His promises, one doesn’t exist without the other. As unprecedented and uncertain as this period is, we know that God’s plans and purpose for us can never be constrained, restrained or thwarted meaning He’s more than able to make sure that everything He’s spoken over our life happens. Let’s trust Him to do exactly that as we strive to strengthen our relationship with Him each and every day.

Happy Wednesday!
