Morning all! Ps 65.3 says “Though we are overwhelmed by our sins, You forgive them all.”
Whether we realise it or not, we fail God on a regular basis. Sometimes though, the weight of that failure feels heavier than usual and we can become overwhelmed by all the things we’ve done that we know we shouldn’t. If we’re not careful, we can begin acting like our failures are bigger than God’s grace which, as Romans 8.1 teaches us, is impossible simply because there’s no condemnation in Christ. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross fully paid for every mistake we have or could ever make . We are completely forgiven. God’s love for us has no end and that’s not based on what we do or who we are but on our beleif that Jesus died to save us. Let’s start to see ourselves like God does: as His marvellous creation through which He can do the most wonderful things, as we rest in the assurance that it’s grace not works that makes us right with God.
