Dry Land

Morning all! Ps 66.6 says “He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in Him,”

Seas don’t get turned into dry land… except when God wants them to. When the Israelites were leaving Egypt and needed a quick escape, God came through for them by doing the (seemingly) impossible. Yet, when it comes to our own lives, we seem to think that our problems are bigger than God. The Bible talks about Heaven being God’s throne and the earth being His footstool to remind us of the magnitude of our God. However, we can easily forget that’s the case when looking at the challenges in front of us. Sometimes, it helps to reflect on the problems we’ve faced in the past because they are testimonies of what God has brought us through. The very same challenge that seemed impossible to overcome, stressed us out and kept us awake at night is now a distant memory and seems insignificant when compared to the new one. Let’s rest assured that God can bring us through anything and rejoice in Him for being our ultimate Saviour.

Happy Wednesday!
